In a continued effort to improve the quality of services provided at Herman Law, P.A., West Palm Beach Criminal Defense Attorney Ron D. Herman has become a member of the Criminal Law Section of The Florida Bar. Through his involvement in this Florida Bar Section, Attorney Herman will be exchanging ideas with other legal practitioners who work in the area of criminal law throughout the state of Florida, and work on advising the Florida Legislature on changes that can be made to the law to improve the criminal justice system in the state. He will also get the chance to further expand his knowledge of various topics pertaining to criminal law. Attorney Herman plans to use all of these resources and opportunities to further strengthen his criminal defense practice and network with colleagues throughout the state.
The Florida Bar’s Criminal Law Section‘s governing body includes criminal defense lawyers, prosecutors, public defenders, judges and academics. The members come from all over Florida. The Criminal Law Section provides recommendations to the Supreme Court of Florida regarding changes that can be made to improve jury instructions, makes recommendations for improving the state’s penal system, and provides Continuing Legal Education (CLE) opportunities. The bar section puts on four CLE seminars per year.
